Replacing fan belts
2003 TLS : Any rec. concerning correct time to replace fan belt? Does engine have a serpintine belt or separate belts(looks like one belt)? I have about 54K miles and as far as I can tell belt feels OK.

need to make sure that c f m (put them together) goes after the word "brochure" and before the "?"

The TL doesnt have "fan belts" We have electric fans.
The TL has a serpentine belt AND a a Power steering Belt. The manual (mine 2000) states to check and adjust every 30k. Replace as needed (mine were original at 200k and still in good shape)

Oh - P/S not A/C. I guess it's been a while since I looked at them!
I'd better go out and check mine - since I don't even know what belts it's got either!
