Replaced Stock Michelins
Well, with 32,000 miles on the odometer, I needed 4 new tires. Went to go price the stock Michelins and they were $230 a piece!!!!! So I picked up a set of Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires (same size as the stocks) and the car handles much better now! Those stock Michelins are really overpriced pieces of junk!!

I too am not a fan of Goodyear tires. I used to by them quite a bit a few years ago. They wear out too quick and cost too much.
I much prefer the Bridgestone and Michlein brand of tires.

I had upgrade on my Accord to Michelin Pilots.
They were a lott better than sock tires they were expensive though but the handled really good in dry, wet, and snow. It a good option for an all season tire.

performance oriented tires - even "performance all-season tires" - will have a softer rubber and will wear more quickly. keeping that in mind and considering michelin's $$$ prices, i feel they're not a good value at all for what you get. i would opt for another tire . . . .
i've been extremely pleased with Dunlop. i've used the D60 A2s and now the SP Sport A2s for years as a "3 seasons tire". i put them on my Prelude and in the spring, they'll be on my 03' Accord after the snows come off. they wear within 25,ooo - 30,000 but they are so cheap, you're ahead of the game anyway! why pay $200 per michelin when you could pay $80 per dunlop!
ever since Honda started using the Michelin MXVs Energies on the Accord EX, I've been taking them off within weeks of getting the car. my "used" michelins sell for more than what the new dunlops cost.
