Removing dried Wax from paint safely!

I had the car waxed and needless to say I've seen better jobs. Anyway, does anyone know how to remove dried wax spots without damaging the paint?!

Thanks in advance

Dawn liquid detergent.... Its alkaline and will remove wax and oils very well without damaging your paint.

I think he wants to remove the wax residue, not remove the wax completely.

If you want to start over, yes Dawn dishwashing liquid will do the trick. Then you have to re-wax.

If you just want to remove the residue, go out and buy a microfiber towell. They are available at most auto parts stores. work great.

Try Eagle One Wet Spray Wipe & Shine its a spray detailer product. It can get off old wax & leave a wet shine.

True...true...Dawn WILL remove all the wax. I was assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that the car had been left for a while with the wax on in a dried condition. If that were the case, Dawn would be one of the best bets.... Microfiber towels are wonderful for cars though! No lint......ever....

Detailing spray such as <Meguiar's Final Inspection - or just apply some cleaner/wax and buff it out. What is the big deal?
