250$ total? well fro me thats good but canada is expencive. they asked 500$ for the starter and the install which I think is rediculous, so I think thats a fair price

Best Buy suck in car intalls

I have a 2003 Tl, 2006 g35 AND 03 COROLLA( WITH REMOTE START from Bestbuy). So far i have gonna back to them at least 10 time in 3 years to get the remote start fixed..plus those morons broke the plastic tab and ended up paying me to take it to toyota for new panels. Stay away from the amateur installers. find a professional installer

NO NO NO NO NO , PLEASE NO..

I had my viper791XV installed at bestbuy (Princeton, NJ) on my 04 Envoy and as much as I love the alarm system I have had nothing but problems with it. If you care anything about your car, you WILL NOT have it installed there. I know you're not going to the same location but honestly that doesn't matter because they train the techs the same way. I don't want to offend anyone who works there who might be part of this board but I would seriously consider another option before you take your car there. I escalated all my problems to corporate services and they eventually gave me a full credit for my alarm including the cost of install (approx $620) I was also given $250 best buy gift card for my headaches. Yes my problems might be a little extensive, but is it really worth taking your baby somewhere you know there might be a problem. If you have to ask yourself whether it's a good idea to go there or not, chances are it's not and you should consider going to more professional shop.

Regardless of your decision... I wish you the best of luck

best buy is just people who get hired to work. go to one of those alarm shops where people are trained for installation and what nots.
