Relay?

I just bought 100w 9005 bulbs, and on the box it said "check your relay before you install."

And I'm wondering, how do I check the relay? Does it say on the manual? I used a search function, but came out with 2 answers, 1) it will work and 2) wires will melt.

The bottom line: Will these bulbs work without causing any problem?

Thanks.

Ehh, 100w will most probably melt your wiring very quick. The most I saw people go with was 80.

Return them.

I found the relay under the hood. On the relay it didn't say anything other than brand, however I found 10,15,and 20amp fuses for head lights.

From my understanding: 100w at 12v yields somthing like 8.3 amp, which is well under the fuses I found. So I'm thinking the wires will be fine? Or its not?

Your inpuut will be welcomed.

if your going to us those lights rewire the wires to your high beams and get a bigger relay and use power direct from the battery. the stock wiring isnt strong enough for those. your light bulbs wont last long if you dont
