Red LED behind CD/radio looks awesome!
I converted all the CD/radio stock bulbs to red LEDs and it looks so awesome! It look so sweet at night. I will post a pics soon!
The front dash of my 02TL is 100% illuminated by LEDs!
My next LEDs project is on the door.
Just imagine this:
1. Super blue LCD for the AC and clock and crimson red for the CD/radio LCD ( all the button and knobs of the CD/radio are illuminated by red LEDs.)
2. All my gauges are illuminated by 80 pcs. of superwhite LEDs.
3. All the buttons on the dash are illuminated by superwhtite LEDs

led specs
great mod. I'm considering doing my own gauges in superwhite.
Do you recall what viewing angle and mcd (brightness) specs your superwhite leds were? I suppose that as luck would have it, you can either buy a wide angle dim led or a narrow angle bright led. No one makes a wide and bright led. 30 leds behind a gauge sounds like a whole lot of work.

hey hchhon, I see ur in Mass.
I'm in CT and might be interested in having you do the led install for me. If done, I'd want the center console(radio, clock, climate control, etc) along with the speedo cluster all in that super blue you've got in ur car. How much would you charge me?
And how long would it take to do?

hcchon,
is it fairly easy to take off the dash to get to the clock lighting, because the led light for my clock does not turn on so i think its a bad bulb,
i need to get back there to possibly replace it...
if you could tell me how to take off the dash so i can get to that bulb, it would help greatly.
