recall question
i purchased a 03 TL-S with 81xxx miles on it about a month ago and the tranny seems fine been driving for 1000 miles already.. dont know if its the original tranny or not.. i registered on the owner link and it talks about the recall on there but my car isnt included in the extended warrantee.. my question is should i bring it in for the recall or should i wait for signs of tranny failure symptoms?

Correct me if im wrong but the tranny itself wasnt recalled they just extanded the warranty to 100k / 7 years. I dont think acura would replace one that is working fine unless its showing signs of failure.

It should be fine. I am guessing its one of the new models with the extra wide oil channels and spray bar already done.
Your car should run like a 200hp sewing machine. If it is rough shifting, have it looked at. Keeping the trans oil changed would not hurt either!
Call Acura cares 800 number and talk to a human who can look up all the service records, extended warranties etc-
