Recall Notice

Hey all.
Just got a postcard in the mail saying my car is getting the recall. Something about the V6 Engine Water Pump. I just got my maybe a month ago. Already I get a recall? Anyone else get this?

I have never recevied any recall except the one about seatbelt buckle. Not the airbag module, not this one you talk about. I have 2000 model, is mine included in this recall?

Here's another link where you can enter your vin # and see any recalls in effect for your car.

Yap.. I received a letter from Honda Canada, and wasn't really cared about it... 'til last service visit(I switched to another dealer for service, BTW... as the dealer where I bought my car has really crappy service... though their sales department was great)..... and the new dealer ran my VIN, ordered the parts needed automatically, and informed me for them to fix it(what a service, that's all I can say)....

The problem has something to do with auto up/down feature... Check with your dealer if you have 2002 and see if your car is affected...

P.S. Only early batch of TL/TLS are affected, I think.... I had my car since April 2001....and was one of the first few batches came to Canada.... :p
