recall done on my tl
i called acura today to see if my car was covered under the transmission warranty and they told me that in 04 it was done all ready but they wouldn't tell me if they replaced anything or what was done to it. if the transmission was replaced how long do they usually last?

Well they should disclose any info on work done, try calling corporate or the warranty dept. Well as far as I know the trannys in 05+ were the ones that had the problem fixed. In average if its the old style ones mine only lasted about 30-40k.

if they looked up the car by VIN- it had the recall oil jet kit install done when issued in 2004
thats a seperate issue from the normal failure of clutch packs which the extended warranty court case is about
Anywhere after 50 it may fail= some go at 80-100 some last 150+ and never a problem
