Hey Guyz,

Just went to get my car back after being rear ended 3 weeks ago, rear quarter panel was chopped off and welded together with another tl... its like i have 2 lol, anyways the rear windshield was removed and put back on while this repair was taking place.... i picked up the car today drove over an unpaved road where they were doing road work (lucky me) and i heard a rather annoying rattle, drove a few blocks and returned it to get the problem fixed...

any ideas on what the problem could be? Weather stripping perhaps? any body have their window rattle like this before?

no one has had half a car welded to their own car. it was the installers mistake. either not enough window weld was used or installed wrong.

 

You sure it's not the rear deck panel or the subwoofer grille?

 

take it back to the shop- its not straight somewhere or not connected properly
Either way its the shops responsibilty to return the car right~

Some shops have been known to charge for frame straightening, but dont actually do the work--if the panels all fit together-- they made free money

If the customer comes back with alignment issue or other prob- THEN it gets the actual work you paid for on the frame
What a scam!!--How do I know this--worked in a body shop for a little while,,it was worse than being a service writer!
