Rear wheel rubbing noise
Was changing my rear brakes with my struts today and had always heard this rubbing noise but could finally replicate. It only does it with rotor on so I know it isn't a rear wheel bearing.
But backing plate isn't touching it at all, the only thing left I could think of is the parking brake... Anything I'm missing?
Anyone with same issue?

Advanced
Check the rotor splash shield for deformations. Theres a small lip that protrudes into a groove in the back of the rotor and if the lip is bent, it will rub within that groove. It should be easy to isolate if you lift the rear end and spin the rotor by hand.

Yes, it did it on the old rotor and the one I just installed
