If you're talking about louvers, I've never ever seen them for this car.

How much are you willing to spend? There is a JDM product out there that is a retractable shade for the rear deck (it fits the Inspire - which is the Japanese version of the TL, so it's a perfect fit), but to get it here, you're looking at about $200 (that includes shipping). I ordered one about 4-5 weeks ago, and it should be here in another 2-3 weeks (they have to ship it in a crate from Japan). Talk to Alan at AJ Racing (http://www.aj-racing.com/) and tell him what you want - he's the only guy I could find who could get this shade for me.

Here's the thread I started when I was looking for the shade: http://www.acura-tl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75920

There are also other generic shades out there, and some are motorized. However, all of the generic shades I looked at before deciding to just buy the Inspire shade would need to be heavily modified in order to work in the TL since we have that sub enclosure "bump" that sticks up on the deck. So, it's a matter of how much money you're willing to part with, and if you feel like a generic shade is worth the time to mod or if the Inspire shade is worth the wait.

it is not powered like the benz or lexus. honda offered something similar for the accord (6th gen?) so this might be easier and cheaper (if not discontinued) than getting the jdm piece.

the people making the nav conversion is trying to produce an eletric unit,

Yep, the Inspire shade is manual - you have to pull it open and hook it to clips you install between the headliner and the top of the rear window. It does wind itself back up using spring tension (like those old school window shades you used to see in homes). I tried the ebay route and saw lots of shades out there, but everyone I spoke to said they wouldn't work right due to the sub. I sprung for the Inspire shade since I didn't want to go through another summer (my car is outside all the time and has dark tint) with my back seats baking in the sunlight. I would have preferred a motorized shade, and may upgrade if ones comes out, but for now, I'm protecting my car with the Inspire.

It looks a lot like the shades you see in Accords. Nothing too special about it, other than it fits the TL and looks stock. There used to be some pics in previous threads about the shade, but those threads are pretty old threads and the picture links are dead. I'll take pics of mine once it shows up and I get it installed.
