RE: HID's

Hey all,

I have a question regarding the HID's for my 1999 Acura TL. The question is what is the difference between the 6000K's and 6500K's? Also, what is the Philips Ultinon? Where can I get these HID replacement bulbs and for how much?

Also, I want to change the high beams and turn signals too...I have the headlights already cleared out and I want to replace the bulbs that is somewhat similar to the HID's. I know there is nothing out there that will be a perfect match, but I am looking for something that comes as close as possible? Any recommendations and where I can purchase them from and for how much? Model numbers would be greatly appreciated...

As for the highbeams, I am looking for something that has that HID look to it also...I had the solaris before and it had a yellowish look to it and that was supposed to be the brightest out there...I had received that recommendation from here...I wasn't too satisfied with the solaris seeing that it had the yellowish look to it, I would prefer something that has the bluish HID tint to it if possible...

Thanks

try looking into the sylvania silverstars for your high beams and turn signals. I love the look of them, not the crap blue look. Close to 4300K HID.

And Check Out this thread for the Philips 6000K. Remember every manufacturer Kelvin ratings aren't the same color output, so look at pics and decide on which one you like. That's not my car but that's what I have, in my low beams and fogs.
