I have a 2000 TL....and I've been experiencing some minor annoyances with rattling in the Left-Front and Right-Rear sections inside the car. I've already left it at the dealership for the whole day twice so they can fix it and they were having problems just diagnosing what is causing the sound. I was wondering if anyone else has had or is having these problems. Thanks.

Rattling can often come from inside the seat. There is plastic as well as metal compounds within the seat structure, and often the two materials rub together creating an array of sounds. There is a fix that Acura can do and it involves removing the seat cover and wrapping the pastic with some sort of tape that eliminates the noise.
Rattling and creaking also come from the seatbelt anchor on the inside edge of each seat (anchor for buckle). This can also be remedied with a type of wrap the dealer can apply.
Our TLs are great cars, but they do have flaws. Flaws that I never experienced on either of my Legends (91 and 94).

As far as the sunroof fix, I was told by the dealer they will put antisqueak tape. Someone posted that they now change the seals but my dealer said no they use the tape.
