OK, I was installing an 03 TL-S radio in my 99 TL last night. I had the car running with Ac and lights on. I know stupid but it was hot and I was in a rush. So I remove the 02 TL radio I had in the car at the time because the CD Player did not work. When instaling the new one it went on for a moment but had no sound, the lights came on and I heard the CD Player making noise. My car Battery then went dead and they no more radio. Now the car is fine charged the battery, but the radio is not getting any power, I also noticed that my cig lighter inside the console is not working. When I pulled open my fuse box I do not see anything for either the cig lighter or the radio. Anyone know what I should do?????

Three Wheelin'
well for starters, I would probably not have installed the radio with the car on. It's possible that you shorted something out, seeing how as soon as you plugged the radio in, power went right through it.
Unfortunately I wouldn't know what caused this, but in the future, install everything, and once you think that all is good, then power up the car and see if it works.
Your best bet is too take the car to acura and have them take a look.
Anyhow, check all the wiring and connections to make sure nothing is loose.
take care.

The Audio/accessory socket, the fuse is on the passenger side block, fuse #9 - rated at 20A
For the audio, there should be another fuse under the hood fuse block, fuse #59- rated at 15A.
I don't think fuse #59 blew up. It controls more than just the audio and accessory sockets but check both anyway.
