Raced a Bently Arnage Red Label
Last night i had the pleasure of racing a bentley arnage. The owner and driver of the car is Terry Glenn of the New England Patriots. Now to the race. We raced 3 times from a standstill. We both just happen to be leaving the same restuarant we were eatin at at the same time. 
He pulls out of the parking lot first and i follow, we just so happen to be going the same way. Well we get caught at a light together. It is a 6 lane road, so 3 on each side. Now granted he has 3 other passengers n the car with him and also 30day tags. anyway, we are at the light together, i wasn't sure if he was going to race or not so i just ease out of the hole, and he kinda does the same, but he sees i'm keeping pace with him so he floors at, he gradually put a car lenth and a 1/2 on me, we run up to about 70. WE get caught at the next light and this time i'm ready n so is he, the light changes and i leave pretty good, just a chirp from the tires, i put bout a 1/2 a car on him, but as we start to gain speed, i say around 60 or so he catches me n passes me and has about a car n length or so on me by 90, so the further we went the better for him. We race again for the 3rd n final time, we get caught at anotha light, this time i leave good again and i have bout a 1/2 car length on him all the way up to bout 70, but there is a car n my lane, so needless to say i couldn't get over so i have to slow down and let him pass. Actually he doens't "street race" just a little friendly stop light to stop light action I heard he has race a GS400 with his 99 CL600 benz b4, it was a friend of his he was racing. he also has a Diablo and i have never heard about him racing that, go figure.

NO offense, but there is no way in Hell you would have beaten him or even kept up if he had really wanted to take you. I am not dissing your driving skills, its just that he has a very powerful car, and he probably didn't want to, or doesn't know how to drive like you. You probably could have whooped him with his added weight and all. I have seen a Bentley only once, and it screamed up the road. Just my experience and $.02

3200, thanks for the response. but u r correct, the power to w8 makes a differnce. He had 3 guys with him, so a total of 4 people n the car. If da WIZ had read my post he would have noticed that i said i beat him out the hole, but as the speeds increased he would catch n pass me. Most definitely if he had not had any passengers he would have won easily. I don't think driving at speeds of 90mph in a 45 is not racing, but then again u r the WIZ so i could be wrong.

I don't think you read the links he posted. The car has a curb weight of 5556 pounds. Even with 400hp, that car will NOT be THAT fast. Plus the fact that he had 3 other people in the car that adds about another 600 poungs at 150 pound average per person (very conservative, I don't know if there were women or not). There's no way he could've KILLED our TL's.
Now the Bentley has a 0-60 time of 7.4 seconds- with the added passenger weight, our TL's should beat them almost every time. Now if it weren't from a stand still and the Bentley had more room to open up without stopping at lights, it might be a different story.

It's good that you beat him from 0-60-100.... but one thing, those thing are TOO heavy to launch thats why they are slow... BUT NEVER NEVER NEVER play with them on freeway, they have HUGE torque..... I raced one with my 200SX which ran 13.5 1/4... I spank him no problem from 0-120.... but I waited for him on freeway at around 70mph, BIG MISTAKE... When he floors it, he just passed me like I forgot to give gas.... Those thing are fast on freeway.....
But I never able to see one with my CL or TL yet.... But I think outcome would be the same, since we have two overdrive gears...! And yall know how it is whenever it's over 100mph....

Nah, the Arnage is 4dr, and his was dark blue, i think, it was at night.

Im in reynoldsburg. I havent been to his crib. I been to bizzy bones house though But he aint got nuthin like a arnage or ghini. Hes just got that e420 and that lx450.

I am buying my tl on tuesday. I just bought the oem kit and the spoiler from Lindsay acura as well as the burlwood knob. I also got the catz msc fog lights. In a few weeks im gonna have it all hooked up.
You see the white tl outhere with the tvs and the 18 inch albas blazes..
