Raced 2005 Anthracite TL Today!!!

I was heading to the beer store after work and there was a 2005 Anthorcite TL behind me to the left in the left of two lanes for my direction of travel on Duck Creek Drive. There was a median seperating the two lanes for opposite direction. I was in Garland, Texas at the intersection of Oates and Duck Creek when we came to a stop and he was one car back. I took at my usual speed hauling ass up to about 60 when he went around the other car and caught up. Duck Creek from there curves around to the left for at least 1/3 a mile. Before I knew it I was doing 80 mph into the turn and could feel the suspension really starting to bite into the road with every bump. Clearly this road was not meant for 80+ mph. Being the successful attorney you would think i did the smart thing and slowed down, but I said fuck it and laid down the hammer, pushing it to just over 95 at the end of the turn and thinking this is it I am going to end up off the road and into someones apartment. But I made it out of the turn with him over a car and a half back (he was stock except for exhaust I think). I turned right on broadway and we ended up at the next light and then once again this time from a stop, I pulled away by @ least a full car length when I had to turn off to go get beer.

I'm not trying to start an argument or offend anyone but I've worked for (literally) a few thousand attorneys over the years and it's taught me a few things. 1.) Attorneys have egos as big as all outdoors. 2.) It's incredible what some of them think and 3.) Never automatically label an attorney as being intelligent.

Again, not trying to start anything. These are just things I've observed over the last 15 years of so (no, I'm not one).

We just find a way to win with the best arguments. The best attorneys tell their client when their arguments won't win the case, even though they don't want to hear it.
