Quick Q regarding the dealership's service department....

I purchased the TL last Wed., and on the very next day, I noticed that there was a scratch on passenger seat's door panel holder; in addition, the woodtrim center console was not securely installed. Thus, I took it to the dealership to very next day and had them order the parts. This was last Thursday, and I haven't heard anything since. For anyone who had ordered parts from the dealership, how long does it typically take for it to arrive?

Btw, has anyone receive any special gifts from the Acura dealership for purchasing a new vehicle? Such as TL Shirts & such?

Pick up the phone and hound them to death. If you are not 100% satisfied then demand a TL shirt or such for your troubles and denial of pleasure.

Well, in my opinion you should have visited your salesman and let *him* know that your vehicle was not delivered correctly. As a brand-new sale you should warrant some extra effort on their part. Also, you shoulda hit him up for the extras during the sale! Of course, the time delay is most likely due to the part being manufactured in Guam (or somewhere else just as slow).

Later,

V.

Let them know that American Honda will be calling to check on your delivery satisfaction. A dealer takes this seriously and a salesman can loose his job if your delivery issue is not resolved. Put a little fire under their asses!:tflamer:

I had a similar problem when I first bought my TL. Everything looked fine when I took it home but the next day I saw a big ass scratch on the right front rim and I was like WTF!!! I called my Acura of Pasadena and the immediately took care of the problem. They put me in a RSX for a couple of days so that they could get the rims repaired. Now that is what I call some real service. Anyone in So Cal I would recommend acura of pasdena anytime.
