Question for those w/ White Diamond Pearl...

I was washing my car and i noticed the following on the paint, but BELOW the clearcoat:

pin-size to double-pin size spots of rust... definitely below the clear coat b/c the finish was smooth to my nail gliding over it.. they are very sparse over the entire finish of the vehicle, more prevalent in the rear.

Does anyone else notice this?

Thanks

i noticed the same thing after i got my car

from the dealer here's what i did and after

that all mark's and blemishes were gone

1-wash and dry car

2-clean down whole car with a high quality
wax and tar remover like prep-sol

3-clay bar

4-high quality polish

5-zaino

I have the exact same specs all over the rear of my WDP TLS..it's dirt from the exhaust that gets all over the rear of our cars. Nothing that a clay bar can't get rid of.

Sounds like rail dust (metal filings and contaminants) that has worked its way down into the paint and started to rust. Basically if its gonna come out, a clay bar will do it.

Mr. Hyde is right again for the 16th time we covered this issue. Solution = Clay Bar. Mothers Clay bar kit can be purchased almost everywhere...walmart, autozone...etc.
