Question for those with comptech springs

And had them done somewhere else besides an Acura dealership. Has any dealership that you have gone to for sevice said anything about them? I know there may be some warranty issues, (hard to prove), but I was curious if they had anything to say negatively about it? Thanks.

i had my first set on 00TL done at a local shop after the Acura dealership quoted me $400 install price (Springfield Acura) but did say they would honor warranty if they did the install. i got them installed for 150 locally, and when i went to that same dealership for service, they complemented me on how nice the car looked. i would say order from tim and install at local shop. dealerships wont do nething that a regular shop doesnt. just make sure they put the right tension springs on the right side. drivers side springs have higher resistance due to extra weight.

I get compliments from my dealership as well.

One time they did mention that they can't get my car up on the racks to do the alignment which was one of the services included with 15K mile service.

Other than that, all I've been getting from the dealership, especially from the service reps are compliments.

My dealership said they wouldn't even install them, too time consuming and too many problems... Yeah, whatever, funny the shop that I had do them installed springs, headers, alignment and had it back to me the same day....
