Question on sanding repair of nicks
I need to repair a couple of big nicks in my back bumper. I'll probably do it, but a question.
After I apply the touch up paint,....Someone mentioned wet sanding. Where do I get the items I need for wet sanding (are we just talking reg. sand paper?) and what technique should I use so I don't do more damage?? I'm no body man, so excuse my ignorance.
Also, what is the best product to apply after to bring back the metallic finish of satin silver?
Thanks.

This guys instructions seem right. I'm too lazy to write it myself anyway. Just be careful. If you don't know what you're doing, you will most likely make it look worse.

non-bumber nicks
Has anyone tried this method on nicks that are not on the bumper? I have a couple of dings on my door where the paint has come off. Does this method work for these types of touchups?
Thanks,
