I am planning to get a rear spoiler within 2-3 weeks...and I am looking around. Should I get the painted one, un-painted one, or factory one?

Any verdict on which is better? Please help. thanks.

I just ordered a WW rear spoiler from this site a few weeks ago. I had the spoiler painted and put on for $250 by a *reputable* body shop. I am somewhat disappointed however with the job. Although the color match was perfect, the installation wasn't great. The guys at the body shop tells me its the spoiler, being that its not factory, they had problems getting the perfect fit. My spoiler is shifted more towards the left by a couple of centimeters, not really noticeable to everyone, but since its my baby, it's noticeable to me. It surprised me that the body shop for my dealer even refused to paint or install my spoiler being that it wasn't factory. The WW spoiler does look nice though, when I get my hands on a digicam I will post some pics.

Sorry for the long story, just wanted to share my experience. As far as your verdict...I can't give any for the factory wing but as far as WW spoiler goes, I think it looks great, but shop around for the right ppl to do the painting and installation. You shouldn't worry too much about paint matching, my body shop was able to clone the perfect match. But be warn of the installation process.

Just curious, anyone know how much a new trunk cost? Does ppl drilling holes in my trunk terrified me!!
