Post question on rear camber kit

what exactly does a rear camber kit do, or what is it for, it is on the parts list last item for 99-01 tl's?

I read that if you drop the rear more than two inches, you will need the camber kit for adjustments or the car will be way out of alignment and possibly damage your suspension not to mention uneven tread wear.

when lowering your car your tires began to butterfly, causing inner tire wear, camber kit solves this problem.
