question for the dropped/slammed tl's

hey guys, i just installed my ingals camber kit with the adjustable balljoint for the front and i got my alignment done, but the car is knocking on bumps i know it has to be the ingalls because it never made that noise with the stock upper control arm. does anyone have this problem or know how to fix it, i saw on the cl side one guy cut a hole but i dont want to do that and i dont want to raise my car up i saw a couple of tl's with the same drop on this forum so can you guys let me know what you did its a 99 tl and it has a finger gap in the front or just enough for the wheels to turn
thanks

do you mean richard parker for the hole then...

as far as what you can do, not a whole lot without cutting or raising it up

i have the same exact problem lol.. why dont people check problems and fixes?

my tire hits uca and i am slammed as well. its annoying and not music to my ears but yeah.. you have to either raise it or cut a hole so the uca can pass through and not hit the wall. i can barely make a turn! rubs when i try and make a full turn.

i'm not raising my car. gonna leave it the way it is.

i have stock control arms with spc ball joint camber kits on the front and i have the same exact problem and just ordered the ingalls control arm with ball joint hoping i would solve this problem, and from the look of this post thats not going to be the case. should i cancel and just make the holes? lowering the car looks so good but hurts the pockets and everytime i hear that bang every bone in my body tenses up.

i have them, and they need a bit of trimming also for maximum travel, but 95% of that is on the arm itself though, with only a little on the body (but not enough to go through though); they designed them a bit too "wide" for our strut towers (and part of that is because of the "wider" mounting area for the ball joint)

basically i got them trimmed enough now, where the shock itself actually bottoms out before the arm hits anywhere
