question for car body / collision guys.

is it possible that acura/ honda rename car paint colors for different years. what i mean is, is it possible that monterey blue pearl and eternal blue pearl are the same colors. i dont believe the two color names were ever used in the same year for second gen tl's.

i have a 2000 tl that is monterey blue and i believe the 02's and 03's came in eternal blue.

i know some body out there has the answer to this question

moved to the right section, Post the color code of your car, it should be on the door-jamb, and a member with the eternal blue can post there's. If it is the same, its the same color, if not, different colors. My bet is on different colors.

Acura/Honda doesn't just re-name a color, they change it. Kind of like how they had Satin Silver metalic for so long, now it's Alabaster silver metalic. They look the same until next to each other. The paint code is the dead giveaway

From what I can see, EBP is lighter than MBP.
