Question about Wing West spoiler

Hey guys.
I just got this Wing West spoiler today.
The spoiler came with double side tape all the way around, and 2 bolts on each end.
Should I drill holes into the trunk and use the bolts.
Or can I get away with just use the doble side tape.
I live in Florida, in the summer get really hot here.
I'm not sure if the glue on double side tape will hold the spoiler.

I saw a few guys from here have the WW spoiler.
thank-s...

I did both on my WW spoiler.
I think just using the 3m tape will not keep it down.

Mine has the bolts holding it on as well. There are actually marks on the underside of the trunk as to where the bolt holes should be, so you can use those as your guide, but I would still measure first.

You could attatch it wil the double sided tape only. That is, if you wanted it to fly off on the highway and probably go through someones windshield. lol.

That tape if applied properly will not let it fly off. Its very strong.
If you dont have the factory spoiler already on your car i see no reason to drill holes in your trunk lid

But in Florida get about 110 F on the summer.
Do you think the double side tape will hold the spoiler

I just found this DIY about the spoiler.
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=166739
Do the holes from the WW spoiler line up with the holes from the factory spoiler on the trunk?
Can I use regular drill bit to drill the holes?

From what I've read, they are slightly off. You may need to widen the holes a little.

Like someone said, as long as you prep the area and do everything correctly, it will hold just fine. Are you going to take off the spoiler once you go to sell the car?

drive it till it craps out, then it wont matter whether or not there're holes in the trunk cause it'll be sittin in the junk yard

Thank-s guys for the info.
But I'm going to use the bolts for the spoiler.
Just because Florida get about 110F in the summer.
And my wife told me so.
ps: It's her car anyway. I don't want get the blame if she see the spoiler fly off on I95.
