Post Question about tranny cooler

A couple guys over at the superhonda Accord V6 forum have installed Hayden model 403 tranny coolers on their Accord with good results. I was wondering, would these help a bit on a modded TL's transmission, say during "spirited" driving?

ive seen it before, not raise hp or tq, but it could cool your oil thus better for tranny oil, and your tranny.....

I've heard it helps make the auto tranny shift crisper, especially during hard driving/drag racing etc. Not that I participate in such illegal acts. =)

Transmisson coolers do just that, cool the fluid. I know that racers use them, but they also use large oil coolers and a couple of gallons of 20w50.

It would be good on mountain roads where you use a lower gear, you would need a larger one for racing.
