I just bought a 02 tl type s and it has 70k miles on it and put about 300 miles and havent noticed anything. Compared to my 98 accord it seems much smoother when shifting and it doesnt do any weird shifting. so I was wondering what kind of signs should I look out for? is this one of the signs, from park I'll put the car in reverse and everything is good, I'll come to a complete stop and put it in drive, when I press on the gas, at the peak of the gear right before the gear changes, it makes a weird sound like a small moter running, sometime it does it once and sometimes it makes the sound twice, it only does this when i first start driving the car. any ideas?

That is normal. It's the ABS system doing a self check.
