Question about the sunroof mechanism...
If you fully open the sunroof and look down at it from above, there are two metal catch dodads on either rail attached by shiny brass colored screws. These are extremely loose on my car; I can wobble them around quite easily.
Are these supposed to be this way or have they just become loose over time? I can pivot them around their screws left and right within the tracks.
Thanks.
I can post pics if need be.

I tightened them up tonight when I got home from work; everything works fine and probably won't rattle anymore. It's hard to believe that they didn't loc-tite these in and/or use better fasteners.

Followup:
Torque up those screws; any rattles I once had with the sunroof open (or closed) are completely gone.
When the roof is open, they just bobble around and rattle.
When the roof is closed, they are supposed to latch the roof in place securely. When they are loose, it allows minute movement of the glass resulting is squeaks and rattles.
