We have two TL's in our family 99 TL, and 02 TL-S...I decided to buy a K&N air filter for my mom's 99TL. And after a week, i checked the air filter and there was no dust/dirt; so i'm assuming either not alot of dust has passed by or every piece has slipped through.
I have always debated weather to get K&N or Comptech. K&N is the Cotton based and is more popluar, Comptech and Amsoil is Foam based...so i don't really know which one is better...can onyone tell me which filter i should get next time for my car? Any advantages/disadvantages of each one?

There was another thread recently but I can't find it in my favorites. Try the newly reinstated search feature.
It appears that K&N flowed better but filtered less.
