question about IAT sensor

question about IAT sensor

need some help finding the Intake air Temp sensor in my TL-s 02.., I think I heard someone saying that it was in some other air sensor but im not sure which one the reason im looking for it is because I got a resistor that I need to put in it, is supposed to go on the IAT but since we dont have it I dont konw where to put it at? thanks

ok, i know this is a few days old but i haven't really been on much in the past month. if i were you i would not mess with that resistor mod. your TL is too smart for that and will adjust timing as necessary to compensate anyway. on some of the older cars it worked (i did this on my taurus) but i would recommend against doing this on the TL, mainly just because it's a waste of your time.

if you really want to have cooler intake temps get an icebox/CAI and get some spacers from outlaw engineering. you'll get more horsepower and torque from that anyway.
