Question about generic tail lights
I found this product on ebay, and I'm wondering if anyone recommends or warns against these taillights. I'm saving up to get some new-style taillights for my 2000 TL-P, and these LOOK the same as the taillights being sold by Acura, but they're half the price. The only difference is that these are clear on the top, whereas the TL-S taillights are more white. Are these reliable products?

There are some differences
1) Price difference
2) Aftermarket tails is direct plug and play, no need for wiring harness
3) OEM has two lens to hide the amber bulbs better (but it looks kinda hazy white in effect) vs one clear lens for aftermarket.
4) (if you look really close, there are small letters) OEM said Honda while aftermarket said DEPO
Pros for aftermarket is
1)Cheaper
2)Plug and play
Cons
1)not OEM
2)no double lens
I had both OEM and these. I recommend either. If you buy it off ebay, wait till matrix racing list it. Its the same taillight but saves a couple of dollars vs buying it from procarspart.

Racer
I have the DEPO tails I got off ebay from matrix racing. They're good, no leaks or anything. They actually fit better than the 4 year old OEM tails fit in my '99, and you don't need the extra harness.
Do yourself a favor and order some Raybrig R112 hyperwhite turn sigs to go with them (if you have 99-01). They're technically illegal, because they're not red/amber, so you might get pulled over. But they're perfectly clear and 2x (at LEAST) as bright as the stock bulbs and look GREAT in my opinion.
