hey i just got a tl and just wondering if the fog lights can only turn on when low beams are on or is it just me?

 

Yes Fog lights can only be on with low beams- they are hooked into the switch so they know when to turn off

Not ~supposed~ to have just them on without headlights too-
but you can claim daytime running lights on for safety~

 

there is a DIY to bypass it though. iono where it is on this forum

for the DIY on acurainspired.com, does the switch still turn them on and off, or is there just to fill space? in other words, will you be able to turn the now "driving" lights on and off like when they were fog lights, or is it permanently on?

 

works with the fog light switch.....only thing is that when you turn on the highs the fogs still turn off.....
