question about failing trannies

are the transmissions failing just out of the blue all randomly or are the associated with a particular driving style/pattern. or do they just fail on any and everyone; even the most conscious careful and conservative drivers?

They are mostly trannys on the Type S ('02 and '03). It does not appear that driving style has much - if any - effect.

Nope it doesn't matter how you drive it, or even if you drive it much at all.

The tls tranny is prone to break down at any given moment.

I had a friend whose tls tranny failed after only a month.

Kinda kills the new car experiance really quick

Is that you Bigpimping??? I thought there might not be too many people besides him that would be so willing to portray misrepresentations as facts like the one you just posted. It made me wonder if you got a new member ID?

It is obvioyus that SOME G35 people come here because they feel insecure about their rides. Bottom line is if you have nothing to contribute but bashing, you are insecure and experiencing what we call TLS envy.

not just G35.

I used to drive a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP and Chrysler 300M. Those were nice competition for TL/TL-S
