Question Question

Hey everyone. I have had an '03 TL-S since Aug 03 and have been visiting this forum for the last few months or so. You guys are hilarious I have a question and am not sure how to explain, but when I drive at low speeds 20-30 mph, I can feel and hear something like an odd vibration or resonating sound and feel - anyone have this or does my post even make sense :banghead: Its really when I'm barely touching the gas pedal. All other times, not there...

Also - my memory seats seem to lose their memory now and again

I love my car otherwise though!!!!

Also have had my car about 8 months and got my first door ding last weekend - I am still pissed off about!!!

Anyway - I enjoy reading the posts - Thanks

Welcome aboard!
do you have aftermarket headers installed on your car? if not, check the bolts on the stock headers, make sure they are all tight. Could be almost any bolt that's loose.
I heard the memory seat was a problem with a few people. One thing I noticed when I first got my car is I need to sync my remote with my car. Because I didn't, every time I went into my car, the seat would move but the memory button would still be there. By pushing the lock and unlock button until the light on the remote goes out should do the trick. If not, take it to the dealer. Congrats on our first ding!?

Thanks

Thanks goldendragon576, I have yet to mod the car - more a lack of time thing than anything else - although my first mod may be to switch out the tires - I'm not a big fan of them. I will check the bolts on my stock headers and if it doesn't help or if they are not loose I will let the dealer know.

Good point on the memory seats and remote - I will check it out!

Door ding :banghead: :banghead: parked at Wal-Mart away from everyone else and wouldn't you know - ding

That noise you hear is the sound coming from your stock exhaust. I myself have pretty good ears and can hear my exhaust sound when traveling at or around 20-30mph.

As for your memory seat bug, go in to your dealer and they should fix it for you.

.. and door dings suck. I got my first and only one after a week of purchasing my '03 TL-S.

I would never trade at Wal Mart - too many jerks in their parking lot!

`ill*tl - thanks for the response. I'm pretty sure it is the exhaust or something related, but I feel the vibration when I am just barely touching the gas - I am worried that something or not connected properly.

Door dings suck :bigun2:
