Quarter Mile Times

Just wondering what times some of you are running. A friend of mine told me that he saw a 2003 CL-S claiming he ran a 13.5 with intake, headers, exhaust, pulley, and a VAFC. Does that sound right? If so that isn't a bad investment.

The fastest NA TypeS I know of is Mattg's . . . and he's running 14.0-14.1

There are some that are running 13's, but they have NOS, S/C or Turbos . . . so this guy better come clean or share he's secret sauce.

Wasn't there somebody on here a while back that did a 14.2 completely stock in a 03 CL-S 6speed?? Not saying that the 13.5 is true, but some one could possibly dip into the 13 with those mods.

i take my prvious comment back only if the guy had a 6 speed. yes its true some 6 speeders run 14.2 stock, add intake, headers, exhaust, pulley, and a VAFC and a good set of tires and it could be possible.

BTW mrsteve is running a superchager and some other bolt on's.

ok thanks for clearing that up for me. as far as im conserned, our cars are pretty fast already. faster than the average ricer anyway, and we get the luxury aspect as well. so it makes sense that it would take NOS or S/C to run 13's. thanks for the info.

A 6-speed is capable of those times with those mods.

My best N/A was 14.11 @ 101 MPH
My best S/C was 13.30 @ 108 MPH

New Acura will run 12.xxx @ 11x.xx.

Aftercooler? what exactly is the purpose of that? Also...I thought you were sick of going after 1/4 mile times? Or were you just wanting a different car to do that with? Well whatever you do, good luck and keep the information flowing

I'm not sick of the car at all, just decided I needed something with lower mileage and more options to make faster.

I'm not going anywhere.
