I thought that just conditioned and cleaned it.. like to prevent it from getting dull. But does this restore the black color it is already dull?? And Lexol is like a 3 step process right..with 3 different products? Do I need to buy all of them?

Nothing will prevent leather from getting dull as a permanent fix like you are asking but Lexol will help to clean and condition the leather so it will last longer without cracking.
You should use the cleaner and conditioner, remember grease and dirt from your hands needs to be clean before conditioning is applied. Good luck.
