problem with new steering wheel

hey guys
i have a 2000tl and i got a 03 type S wheel from a friend. It was brand new and i put it on mine. The installation was pretty easy but as i was driving home i noticed there was some clicking and when i turned my horn would go off as i kept driving it got more sensitive to were i couldnt even touch the wheel without it going off. So when i got home to look at it the horn jus completely jammed and wouldnt go off unless i put pressure on the right side of the wheel. What went wrong? Is it pssible i tightened the bolts to hard or something. So now my car is parked with no power because the only way to stop the horn was to disengage the battery. If nebody can help i would be so apreciative. And if nebody knows how to disengage the horn that would be helpful too. I wonder what ACURA would charge me to put it on???
PLEASE HELP

My thought is you messed up the clockspring mechanism. The dealer will probably charge you $$$ to fix + parts.

Parts # 9 or #22. Not a cheap fix.
