Problem: metal rubbing sound front
I went and got an alignment and I am still having the same problem. When ever in drive or in reverse and I spin the wheels all the way both sides it makes a huge metal rubbing sound. I jacked up the car and can't find anything wrong. Any advice?

do you mean you turn the steering to full lock on either side-
while in reverse and moving, or forward and moving?
and the noise happens
this was happening before align.,,is the car lowered?
What are you running for rim and tire size?
Could be as simple as fender rub on tire outer edge
Or cv axle joints could be bad
open windows,,If you start to move very slowly with wheel turned full one way
can you hear a click click click ? = cv joint
the alignment shop was told abut this problem and did not find anything wrong?

yes it happens on full lock while i keep holding the steering wheel to full lock than as i slowly spin it away it starts to grind less and less. The alignment shop told me to replace my outer tie rod because that could be causing something. I do not hear any ticking nor does anybody else hear ticking. tire size 215/55/17 factory rims.

ask another alignment shop,,2nd opinion
thats a good possibilty,,tie rod ends,,did they show you broken rubber boots or manipulate the joint to show how it moves when it shouldnt?
did they actually look at the car on the lift?
If you dont have to hold it to full lock -at all-,,dont!
thats realy hard on all the steering parts-pump- etc
full lock is a limit,,not a useable setting

hows the tire wear pattern across its face?
even, smooth, not worn or cupped on inner portion, wear bars all same height to base,,(uneven is inflation issue)

its even. I havnt been driving the car lately since this happened. Also i dont remember if its suppose to be like this but when you turn the wheel clock wise the driver side rises a little bit i could feel it. Than when i spin it counter clock wise it straightens out
