PROBLEM - INSPIRE Conversion
 

Hey everyone. I finally got my Inspire conversion kit today (after 3 months being back ordered from JDM). So I go to install the grille.. take off the old one.. and then realize.. that the center "H" has no plastic mounting bracket like the old "A" symbol does. Did they forget to put it with my order?? Is it supposed to come with the whole package?? Took me forever to take off the old one. So now, I just put the new center grille on, but there's no symbol in the middle of it. Should I call JDM and ask them?? Or is there another way I can install it? I'd be very upset if they forgot to put the plastic mounting piece with the shipment. It's not even an option to buy on their website.

Someone please help!

where do u get your inspire conversion kit?

Ohhh... can I get any part for an inspire (Japanese TL)???
It would be cool to get the passenger windows to have the auto up/down feature :-)

What would be really cool is to get the new Accord Inspire here in the US with all the cool features like camera for reversing and the other cool safety features that it has....(not that i need a camera to reverse).

Yes there is supposed ot be three parts to the new grille. the "H" , the chrome "wings" and the black square housing that the H mounts on, th4e existing one is a circle for the "A".

I can get inspire packages right now, but I'm not sure the prices..

By the way, the grille will not fit the '99-'00 TLs, the wings are too wide..

I just spoke to Johnson at AJ-Racing - and he said he spoke to the guy who packaged my set, and said that it was in the box. Of course they'd say that. But, he said he will ship me out a new one, but has to confirm that he has one on stock.

I'll keep everyone posted.

That Japanese version had Auto up and down for the Passenger?

there are alot of features/options that the japanese and euro spec accord/inspire had that the american TL doesnt have.

That grill looks like it's for the 99-01 TL....

maybe it's cuz IT IS :shrug:
