Powerslot Rotor Users?

Any experience with Powerslot rotors, guys?

For those of you who have them, what pads are you using?

How many warp-free miles do you have on your rotors?

Thanks.

I'm glad you asked this question. I've been leaning toward buying these as well. Are you looking at the cryos? 3yr / 36K mile warranty says something.

Hello,

Yes, all of our slotted rotors carry a 3-year/36,000 mile warranty. For product information or a dealer near you, please give our sales staff a call at 818.709.4800. Thank you for your inquiry.

Best regards,

Danny

I wonder if the warranty covers warping...

Cost? I can get them for about $80/each with my hookups, so price isn't that much more than a decent solid rotor.

I also started a thread over in 2G CL and apparently quite a few people are using them.

Long term or lifetime warranties from someone not local to you- like the zone etc, where you remove the part and take in to the store where the exchage it
wellllll.....
Sellers out of town? Your car sits on jackstands for how long while you ups the rotors back and forth?

Spend a little more now and get much higher quality
You need to come down and take a ride in my car and then decide

Well I was asking this question for someone w/ a 05 Accord 4-cyl M/T.

Turns out that RB only has cross-drilled+slotted rotors for this application and I really don't care for them.

So I'm just going to go with "regular" Powerslots + Akebono ProACT pads from my trusted vendor for $235 shipped.

The guy with the Accord does mostly highway driving and got 60k+ out of the original rotors before they began warping (now at 75k) so I think the Powerslots should last at least as long, if not longer.

i think the power slots is a well known very good quality product, but they are pricy...and those UP rotors are unknown as far as nation wide reputation, i can't really comment on that compare with power slots

i am happy with cheap rotors and they do the job, it costs less than half and all of us use them on the race cars too...

Hawks are the same price, but them seem to make noise half the time even when burnished and installed properly.

It isn't my car- the person wants a QUIET pad with low dust, decent stopping power compared to OE and long life, so what am I to suggest?

HAHAH UP (Ultra Performance) rotors unknown~
A little read thru www.racingbrake.com will inform that this is the performance division of the company that supplies many of the OE brake parts for cars assembled in America
20 years of experience and the latest in engineering using sound old school principles with CAD is good- and most of their other work is with Vipers- Vettes- that sort of car.
I just went from HPS to the EP300 Racing Brake pads and already like them
Just like rotora and some other makes have in-house brands- it a better combo because they were made to work together.

I give Soda Luvr grief because he lives near me and always trying to save a buck on the TL
Sworn to secrecy on his original plan for spark plugs

The Rotora Ceramic pads have a pretty good bite and are quiet. Also people have said great stuff about EBC Greenstuff pads.

i said i don't wanna comment on that coz i dunno about that product, and honestly if i am going to upgrade brakes i usually go with BBK setup...just like i had a Wilwood 6 piston BBK but i just sold it coz i am going back to stock

there are a lot of choices out there for rotors so it's really hard to get to know all the brands, but as far as the pads, i like Hawk HPS coz they really stops well...if u can live with the brake dust...don't get EBC green coz my frd had very bad experience on his G35 and now he's happy with the HPS
