is there anyway to reprogram the 12V power outlets to stay on when the engine is off?

just tap the hot wire directly to the battery so it bypass all the relays when the engine is off.

Why would you want to make the power outlet "live" at all times? If you don't mind my asking.

why?

well, if I forget my cell phone in the car, it would be nice to get it recharged while it's there.

What's the life on those outlets anyway? I have my radar plugged in one and my cell charger/hands-free in the other.

That's a pretty good idea...my only fear would be forgetting the charger in the socket and having the battery die on me. Granted it would take a while but you never know...and knowing my luck!

Thank you for the compliment. I'm finally picking up my new Momo rim tomorrow (I shattered the original one...damn NYC streets!) I will have pics posted sometime around March. I use the stock rims durring the winter b/c of salt & snow and haven't taken pics yet. By that time my stereo system will be done as well so I will post pics of that too.
