Post Is this possible with an IS300

Turbocharged IS 300 Possibly Toyomoto or XS Engineering Turbocharger

386.6hp at 6000 to 6500 RPM
355.6 torque at 5300 RPM

Seems like bullshit to me.

With a Turbo, anything's possible.

Remember they can very easily swap out with the Supra's Turbo Engine the 2jz-gte, one of the best bottom ends for turbo application ever. At BPU the 2jz-gte turns 450 at the crank 400 at the wheels. So 380 is pretty damn easy to achieve. BPU can cost as cheap as $1200.

I read some of these posts and the cars were not driveable after the turbos. The transmission wouldn't shift into the next gears. I don't know if it was this exact set-up, but this happened to one of the first guys who had his car turbo'd.

Dammit that's why you jack the Supra's 6 speed as well!

Besides, the best idea would be to get an IS300 in 2001 with a 5 speed already in it, then there's no hassle with shift speeds, tranny overheating etc (at least its driver controlled)
