Is it possible to buy type S headrests, wood trim?
I like the triangular headrests and black wood trim of the Type S and want to get them for my 99 TL, so I was wondering, is it possible to buy them anywhere? Maybe I haven't been looking right, but I don't think I've seen them on the website for sale.

I think they would fit but they would look weird because the headrest on the type s go into the seat a little. Plus if you can do them, I bet you those headrests would cost a lot of $$$

You can certainly by the accessory blackwood trim as a kit. The 2002 TL trim has a different radio cutout, but everything else should be the same.
There's no way to buy the blackwood trim replacement for the existing door panel trim. Snook has tried looking for some, but Acura doesn't sell it as a seperate piece.

you got soo lucky... some guy wants the box headrest and he has the type-s headrests now.... .

Thanks for the help crzy....xjp122x I tried getting a hold of ya dude...I can't sell my headrests...because I want to be able to return my car to factory...but I'd be more than willing to buy yours...if they're black and in good condition (and are the box type). Let me know man and we'll work something out.

p.s. - there are online places that do custom wood trim kits...in fact, they have one that matches the black TL wood dead on...go look on google.com

Austin, my headrests are the black box ones and in good shape..so if I can find a pair of type s headrests to buy I would be more than willing to sell you my current ones. Crzy just wondering, was the link supposed to get me back to this topic? Or a different page? Because when I clicked it I got the same page to pop up..
