Is this possible: $500 HID conversion for civic?

Ok, i'm just trying to find out if this is true. A HID conversion 'kit' for civic for $500? If the price is way to low, I think that this 'kit' may contain cl/tl parts in it? What you think guys?
Ohh, there is pasted copy of this dude's thread

Man,look what I started!. I talked to my friend with a HID conversion, I am going to spend about $500 on HID conversion kit. Screw the blue lights or PIIA for that matter I want the real thing.

Yes it is true about the HID kits!

You can buy a kit off Ebay or some local dealer for like $500-800 maybe a little more. Not all HID kits are the same though so let the buyer beware! The prices for HID kits are dropping just like everything else in the electronic world.

The neat thing, too, is that they are almost plug-n-play. Just need to find somwhere to mount the ballast.

I forget who but, someone on this forum converted their fogs with an HID kit.

Well...this can only be good news for us TLers...if HIDs get cheaper maybe they won't ripp it off our cars. What's up with HID lights anyway...why can't they make cheaper HID lights.

It's called Demand and Supply... And also, it's somewhat 'new' cool thing to have in your car... I guess

groupbuycenter and ebay both have HID kits from phillips and that other one i cant remember.. both are like $450 - $500 so prices are definitely dropping.. the other caveat is that it wont look right in a civic or any other car that wasnt designed for HID's .. the optics dont focus the light right so the pattern adn color look weird. I suppose thats why they steal the whole TL housing and not just balasts/lamps.

This was probably like asked million times, so this is million and one... We can add additional sensors to our stock alarm, right? Cause from all the posts I read here, people are getting aftermarket alarms with all kind of stuff, which I realy don't need, except for hood and shock sensors.
