Poor car parts online shopping expereince...
I placed an order for a set of 4 rotora slotted rotors with Streetbeatcustoms.com and just had to cancel.
I placed the order Monday night (today is Thursday). An e-mail sent after placing the order said I would get shipment confirmation 24-48 after placing the order.
So I call today wondering why my order wasnt shipped. The man on the phone said it was "special ordered" after I stated "so it was backordered, how come you didnt tell me that via e-mail, etc...?"
Anyway, they were going to charge me an extra 20 bucks to have the "factory" arrange a direct shipment to me and it would arrive in 5-7 business days.
I said shove it and cancelled the order.
I let him know that the web system was flawed in that the didnt tell you if it was available in stock or not nor a follow up e-mail letting me the status of my order after it was indead processed (by them making an order of their own).
Very bad business practice if you ask me.
Anyway, I went with another site, Modacar.com, and they are delivering it 5-7 days for 25 bucks less than if I went with the other chumps.
What really f-ing bothers me is that I lost a week driving around with warped brakes because of these assholes that dont know how to run a real business and leave the customer in the dark.
Thanks, I had to vent!
