yes I did
i bought the acura plus warranty which covers me for 5 yrs. 130k km. I figure based on the amount of driving that I do, that I will be at 130k km after about 4.2 years, so that covers me for the duration of my lease, and I will probably buy out the car at the end, and purchase another few years of warranty.

I purchased the Acura Extended Warranty (7yr/100K) for $1K when I bought my '99TL. So far it's saved me >$600 for a repair, and it's great having the peace of mind....

2.) 5 yrs/ 130,000 kms bumper to bumper. Haggled with the dealer and got it for $350 Canadian on top of the purchase price.
Was my wife's idea of peace of mind. But despite this, the warranty does not cover the cr*ppy factory Michelin tires. Maybe you can negotiate this and stipulate it on the contract, I sure would have if I had know these tires were this bad.
