please help..smoke coming from vents

I don't know if its condensation..but theres smoke coming from my vents with AC on. It happens once in a while. it has no smell. Please help...any advice. I'm going to call acura today.

Odorless smoke may be due to a difference in temperature, like when it's really cold outside and you breathe, you can see your breath...same concept

I bet it only happens when it's reaaaally hot & humid out. It's condensation and nothing to worry about.

- Same deal on my car (Hot NJ days and temp set to 60deg). Even happens on my wifes' crappy Jeep.

Thats what it sounds like to me condensation. This happen to me once with the TL the summer before last. If it did not smell I am sure thats what it was.

Ya, its normal. Just hit the circulate button on the dash to cycle the car in the air through the AC rather than the outside air. It is easier on the unit and will get faster results.

Most people don't know that HVAC systems (even car systems) only guarantee 15 degrees below the outside temp. With humidity and other weather factors thats not a HUGE difference on paper, but makes a world of difference. Anything set colder than that can 'freeze' a unit (commonly done on home HVAC units.) Just wanted to through that in as my .02
