Yet another cheap, corner-cutting move by Acura is the use of thin soft plastic around the ignition switch. Oh, and don't get me started on the soft, wimpy plastic around the ashtray that is all scratched up ALREADY on my 2001 TL......

But the TL is not a bad car after all thought...

I test drove teh Audi 1.8T 5 spd, S4 6 spd, S60 T5 5spd, any many other Bimmers and bababa


I still liked the way my TL is after all. Well, of course the S4 is FAST, but I ams saying that for the price that I am paying for the TL. I can live with it.

Yeah it is cheap, my kid sis has a new tl and that thing got @#$%^ up after 1 week, she asked me to look, I did and was appalled......

I'd demand a replacement from the dealer....
