Plastic Burning Smell from Exhausts?
Hello guys,
I did a search on this but most of the smell seem to be coming from the cold engine. However, my case is a bit different.
There's strange smell like plastic burning coming out from my exhausts. Even after I've been driving for a while, i.e, car's fully warm up. There's still the same smell.
I took the car in to dealer for oil chaneg and they did a so called "25 points" check on my car and there's nothing wrong with anything. They also replace some kit regarding last year's recall for me at no cost. But ever since then, I started to smell a bit of the smell until yesterday, it's getting really bad.
I am thinking, was it because of the kit they replaced? Or maybe I should use another brand of gas... I use ESSO 91 now.
Thanks

yeah.. it's stock... however, they installed some oil injection or something like that in my transmission (the dealer, for the recall) and it started to smell.. I hope it goes away eventually..
